This vacation starts at Shannon airport where you pick-up your car from Hertz. A short drive brings you to your hotel in Bunratty village, the town of Ennis or Limerick city where you spend the first 2 nights. Pamper yourself for a night in one of Ireland’s luxurious castle hotels - Dromoland Castle or Adare Manor Resort - with the remaining 4 nights in family run B&B’s. The Shannon Region lies at the heart of the beautiful West Coast of Ireland and has an array of holiday riches most of which are endowed by nature – the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren to mention just two.

Start your trip at Shannon airport by picking up a current model car from Hertz. We supply you with a booklet containing Prebooked Vouchers for your 2 night hotel stay, your 1 night castle stay and Open Vouchers in B&B’s for each night prepaid. We give you an accommodation directory listing over 1,000 B&B’s – all approved by the Irish Tourist Board. In addition you get a road map to help plan your itinerary and select your overnight stops – go as you please.

Select your castle stay from one of the following deluxe 5 Star hotels -

• Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort, Adare, Co. Limerick
• Dromoland Castle, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare 

NOTE: - You can reverse the itinerary by commencing vacation at Dublin or Cork and end with the last 2 nights in a hotel in the Shannon Region. You could also add a sumptuous medieval banquet in a 15th century castle?
