Ireland was made for the self-drive vacation being one of the least populated countries in Europe. It is not conducive to rushing – the many narrow country roads lend themselves to exploration at a leisurely pace.

Hertz or Alamo will get you going from one of their many locations around Ireland in a current model car. Choose accommodation to suit your budget (B&B’s or Hotels, a mix of both or perhaps a cottage) and stay as long as you wish.
