Yeats and explore Connemara one of the most desolate parts of the west of Ireland. Journey on to the Kingdom of Kerry via the Cliffs of Moher and take in a whiskey tasting at the Old Midleton Distillery.

Your Vacation Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive Dublin
Arrive in Irelands Capital City, which has something to offer every tourist, from the trendy Temple Bar area to its Georgian Squares, historic buildings and museums.
Day 2 Dublin / Donegal
Head northwards taking in the ancient tombs of Newgrange and Knowth. Continue through the tranquil lakelands of Cavan and Fermanagh to Belleek, home of the famous Irish pottery before travelling on to Donegal to shop for some colourful Donegal Tweed.
Day 3 Donegal / Westport
Take a coastal drive south to Sligo via Drumcliffe, burial place of W. B. Yeats. Travel on through Ballina and Castlebar to the heritage town of Westport on Clew Bay overlooked by Ireland’s holy mountain of Croagh Patrick. Fancy a night in a deluxe castle? Try Ashford Castle, Cong.
Day 4 Connemara / Galway
Travel south via Leenane and Clifden to Recess in the heart of Connemara renowned for its unspoilt landscape stopping at impressive Kylemore Abbey enroute. Take a ferry to the Aran Islands from Rossaveal or continue on to Galway – the ‘City of the Tribes’.
Day 5 Galway / Kerry
See the Burren region, a paradise for botanists, and the mighty Cliffs of Moher. Continue via the cathedral town of Ennis and historic Limerick City, home of King John’s Castle. Pass through the pretty village of Adare and into the Kingdom of Kerry.
Day 6 Ring of Kerry
The scenic network of the Lakes of Killarney, set in a broad valley overlooked by the Kerry Mountains, is the single most powerful magnet for visitors to this area. The awesome mountain and coastal scenery is a rich circumference of delights.
Day 7 Kerry / Kilkenny
Travel east to Cork City, the second largest city in Ireland via Blarney to shop at Blarney Woollen Mills. In Midleton, learn how Irish whiskey is made. Cross the Knockmealdown Mountains to the Golden Vale of Tipperary and mediaeval Kilkenny.
Day 8 Day 8 - Kilkenny / Dublin or Shannon : Tour Ends
Return car to rental depot at Dublin or Shannon airport in good time prior to checking in for return flight.
