Shopping on Grafton Street or just ‘people watching’ in St. Stephen’s Green might be how you wish to spend your time in Dublin. Whichever, afterwards you have to traverse the central plains of Ireland west to desolate Connemara where black-headed sheep make up a large part of the population. Then it is south thru’ the Burren of Clare and a ferry across the Shannon Estuary to the quaint village of Adare in Co. Limerick before heading to Killarney with its famous lakes.
