We take a voyage back through time this morning at the Kingdom of Kerry Museum. Afterwards a tour of the spectacular and rugged Dingle Peninsula, an area rich in antiquities ranging from Iron Age stone forts to beehive huts. We will visit the thriving fishing port of Dingle, view the Blasket Islands as we round Slea Head and walk Inch Beach where scenes from the epic film 'Ryan's Daughter' were shot. (Dinner/Overnight – Dromhall Hotel, Killarney)

Enjoy outstanding views of the gleaming Lakes of Killarney from Aghadoe Heights before taking the short drive south to the colourful market town of Kenmare, nestling at the head of Kenmare Bay which separates the Beara and Iveragh peninsulas. Travel the Ring of Kerry road back into Killarney through Moll’s Gap and the Black Valley along by Ladies View that provides some spectacular vistas of the famous lakes. Walk the shores of Muckross Lake in Killarney National Park and visit the Traditional Farms which preserve in real life the farming traditions of rural Ireland in the past. An optional visit to Siamsa Tire (the National Folk Theatre) is on offer tonight. (Dinner/Overnight – Dromhall Hotel, Killarney)

Leaving Kerry we travel east over the Kerry Mountains to the picturesque village of Blarney to shop for Irish handcrafts and an opportunity to kiss the famous 'stone of elequence' (optional). From Cork City we head north to Tipperary (not so far away) with its lush, green landscape. We visit Cahir for a tour of one of Ireland's best preserved castles and the town of Cashel, dominated by the spectacular Rock of Cashel, before arriving in Kilkenny, a city proud of its heritage. (Dinner/Overnight – Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny)

This morning we will visit the historic city of Waterford, which was founded by the Vikings some 1,100 years ago. It is a bustling maritime city with a backcloth of 18th and 19th century buildings and a maze of narrow streets, which evoke the city’s mediaeval past. The highlight of our visit will be a tour of the Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre, home of the world’s most famous crystal. This fine crystal is exported to the four corners of the world. Then it's back to Kilkenny for a leisurely afternoon. Though only a town in size, it has the status of a cityhaving vied with Dublin for the position of capital in the 17th century. It is justly proud of both its castle and cathedral and contains an absolute treasury of well-preserved medieval buildings. (Dinner/Overnight – Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny)

Enroute to Dublin this morning we travel through the Curragh of Kildare and a guided tour of the Irish National Stud, which is home to some of Ireland's finest thoroughbred horses. Enjoy a panoramic tour of Dublin before arriving at our city hotel. This evening you are free to explore the many fine pubs and restaurants Dublin has to offer. |

The full day is yours to explore and enjoy Dublin’s ‘Fair City’, an ancient and cosmopolitan city as intimate as a village, and friendly as a pub, a city steeped in history and buzzing with youthful energy. Alternatively you can take the time to do some shopping around fashionable Grafton Street or visit some of the sights - Dublin’s noted Georgian Squares, Christ Church and St. Patrick’s Cathedrals, the River Liffey that divides the city north/south and its main thoroughfare O’Connell Street. This evening we will have a farewell dinner and Irish entertainment in one of Dublin’s top nightspots. (Dinner/ Entertainment / Overnight – Jurys Croke Park Hotel, Dublin )
